Even though Liz didn't have any classes on Wednesday she was still up early. She had handwavily received a letter from Hellboy, the first letter that she had gotten from him in a while. Now she was attempting to write a response but she wasn't entirely sure how she could explain everything that had happened in the past few weeks since she had last seen him.

Dear HB,

That was as far as she had gotten in her response. As she considered what to say Blackie had climbed onto her lap and began purring. She put her notepad down so that she could scratch behind Blackie's ears.
