Look, if Prompto managed to get through this without having to call Ignis out of desperation and without some of those pictures Liz was taking ending up as evidence for a culinary crime scene, he would be happy. Hell, even the edibility was negotiable! He was pretty sure he was accomplishing that much, though, even if there had been a few incidents with the blender where he'd forgotten to put the lid back on and he really needed to stop opening the oven door to check on the turkey, but everything was smelling like it should, so his confidence was actually pretty high up there.

"I think," he breathed out, finally able to escape the kitchen to grin over at Liz, flour still smudged on his cheek and that was definitely parsley in his hair, "we may just survive this first Thanksgiving yet!"

Prompto grinned, wrapping his arms around aliz as he went to kiss her back and kiss her again, ending it with a tired sigh and resting his forehead against hers.

"Eat it with a smile as best you can even if it tastes horrible," he said with a laugh, "and if I go on about wanting to do this again next year, for the love of god, stop me."

"Yes, please," said Prompto, now resting his chin on the top of Liz's head as he just held her for a moment and sighed contentedly in that. "Especially if someone else cooks. We can bring a pie. I can handle a pie.

"I'm glad I did this, though," he admitted,a second later, "at least this once, for our first one with Noctra. Makes it a little more special, you know?"
